There are 21 Goddesses to find :-

  1. Ishtar in Mesopotamia.  A Blue Gate was named after this Goddess of Love, Fertility, Nature, Sex and War.

  2. Athena her temple (now in ruins) stands high above the city named after her. The goddess of wisdom and justice.

  3. Isis an Egyptian Goddess of a thousand names.  The Great Mother.

  4. Devi the Hindus say, who gives birth to all force and form, who creates separation out of unity, who is the energy without which all would still be chaos.  All Goddesses are Devi, the one Goddess.

  5. Quan Yin She is a Boddhisattva (also spelled bodhisattva), a person who has earned the right to leave this world of suffering and enter nirvana, but has chosen instead to stay on this earth to help others reach enlightenment first.

  6. So many Goddesses look to the North pacific to hear of a volcano Goddess named  Pele.

  7. Hina a complex Polynesian Goddess whom many myths were told.

  8. Changing Women The Apache called the Earth-Goddess by this name.

  9. White Buffalo woman she reminded the  Oglala, of the Midwestern forests and plains, of the mysteries of their mother, the earth.  Urging them always to honor her, she disappeared in the shape of a white buffalo.

  10. Sedna an Inuit Goddess, with a horrendous tale, that teaches me not to trust every handsome suitors word.

  11. Bridget is the best example of the survival of a Goddess into Christian records. So cherished by the Celts, Her image was dedicated by the Catholic church as St. Bridget.

  12. Chalchiuhtilicue an Aztec Goddess is the whirlpool, the wind on the waters, all young and growing things, the beginning of life and creation. 

  13. Pacha Mama is the name given in many South American countries as the Earth Mother.  'Pacha' means Earth, Infinity, the Divine and the Sacred.

  14. Amaterasu is honored as the ruler of all deities, as the guardian of Japan's people, and as the symbol of Japanese cultural unity.

  15. Erzulie is the Haitian Goddess of Love whose roots go back to the Yoruba West African Goddess of Love, Oshun. She is beauty, sweetness, love and sensuality personified and is renowned for her generosity.

  16. Goga in Melanesia-Papua New Guinea we learn the story how humans got fire.

  17. Eingana the Mother as the creator, maker of all water, land, animals, and kangaroos, This huge snake-goddess still lives, they say, in the ocean, rising up occasionally to create yet more life.

  18. Saule The greatest goddess of the Baltic people - the Lithuanians and Latvians - was the shining sun, the sky weaver.

  19. Baba Yaga "Old woman" of autumn of the Slavs. Later a prototype of our stereotypical witch.

  20. Diana mother of wild animals and forests, and a moon goddess.  She is praised for her strength, athletic grace, beauty and her hunting skills.

  21. Copper Women completes the circle of the sacred women.  The first nations of Vancouver Island retell the story of First mother, who was made of the earth on which we stand, in whose veins ran blood as salty as the sea, whose hair is as the grass, whose public hair is as the moss, whose bones and teeth are as the shells and whose children became scattered, and spread out to cover the earth.  We learn that we are all cousins, because we are all grandchildren of First Mother.
